Hello Everyone! The new year is around the corner. We bid farewell to 2018 and welcome 2019 with a lot of hopes and aspirations. 2018 is going to become history soon and everyone is curious about the future. As one famous saying,
Don’t let yesterday use too much today – Will Rogers.
That means don’t make your past impact the present. Be it a success or failure, make them your lessons learnt and save it in your memories and use them wisely whenever needed.
We know that nowadays the world is filled up with a lot of negativity. Negative energy makes us tired and hopeless. Hence this new year pledge yourself to keep positive energy in you by surrounding positive thoughts, intentions, hope, Optimism in your attitude.

The below are new year resolutions for 2019 which I am thinking to pursue during next year. Some are already been followed and some are added new this year. The list is as follows
- Read at least 15 books on personality development, business and Chinese language.
- Write at least 40 articles on my blog http://www.murali.today which range of various topics like Electric vehicles, Brushless DC motors, Technology, Chinese language, Travel.
- To continue learning Chinese language and complete HSK Level 5 Chinese proficiency level. Revisit Korean and German language basics.
- To Complete Project management professional course ( PMP ) to improve my project management skills and help me in my job.
- Partner with at least 100 media partners to my events website http://www.goevnts.com and promote them for free.
- Work at least one Electric vehicle / electric motors project our of work to keep with the pace of technology developments
- To continue the gym workout for at least 4 days a week.
The above list is made based on my personal interests and passion. I am wishing to keep myself engaged and busy without keeping any negative thoughts or pessimism surrounds me and keep myself confident and optimistic about every situation I face. I am sure you all will have your own passions and resolutions and looking forward to see your resolutions as the comments.
Sharing some very useful resources which I feel will be very useful for various topics as listed below
Personality development and business
Telugu Geeks – A very useful YouTube channel ( in Telugu ) but gives a lot of inspiring videos on various personality development topics. I suggest watching at least one video a day, follow the tips and see the difference
Alux– another YouTube channel which makes very useful websites on various topics
Business casual – this YouTube channel gives stories about business and business empires
Edureka – this channel gives useful videos about various educational topics and I follow it for project management topics.
Finnovation – if you are untested in stock and finance this channel gives very useful videos for Learning the basics.
Fitness and diet
Fittuber – this YouTube channel gives various tips about the fitness and diet for keeping yourself fit.
Mandarin corner – this YouTube channel is one of the useful channels for Learning Chinese and I follow this and occasionally listen to the videos. The tutor just talks in Chinese but with subtitles in Pinyin which one can pause the video and jot down. I find this channel very useful.
YoYo Chinese – another channel which have a wide range of Chinese Learning videos and if one has to learn from basics, follow from the first video of this channel. A very detailed and structured way of teaching
