Battery swapping may not replace charging. But I believe it could transform electric trucking.
Last week, I shared truck pollution numbers. β’ Trucks are <5% of vehicles. β’ They use 40% of road fuel. β’ They create 44% transport emissions. β’ They cause ~50% particulate and NOx emissions. They still stay on my mind. Today, let's discuss one possible solution. Battery swapping could solve this. Sharing this battery swapping Video that caught my attention. Many discuss battery capacity. I think uptime matters more. π Battery swapping reduces idle time. Fleet utilization ca

Trucks create 44% transport emissions. India cannot clean its air without Electric trucks.
I agree with Amitabh Kant's perspective. The following numbers surprised me: Trucks are <5% of vehicles. They use 40% road fuel & 44% of transport emissions. They cause ~50% Harmful- Particulate and NOx. Electric trucks can change this. πβ‘ Lower emissions --> Cleaner air. Lower logistics costs. Better energy security for India. Policy and charging must scale together. Technology alone cannot transform freight. My takeaway? Batteries are not the biggest challenge. Duty cycle

Nitin Gadkari says no future for petrol/dieselβbut what about cost, jobs, and supply chains? π.
Exited to see this great signal for innovation and investments. Policy optimism is real, but key EV adoption bottlenecks still remain: π° Affordability β High upfront costs vs ICE Charging infra & Battery swapping - availability, speed, reliability, standardized connectors. Consumer awareness β Range anxiety, resale concerns Skill gap β Trained workforce for EV design, service, safety Supply chain β Battery materials, semiconductors, localization, rare earth magnets Grid rea
