Unsafe Indian roads are silently killing fitness habits

Do you agree we need safer walking and cycling lanes?
I once saw this road in Barcelona.
It made me think about India.
I still feel, dedicated walking and
Cycling lanes are still a luxury in India.
Mostly limited to a few posh areas in metros.
In many tier-2 cities and towns,
people walk, run, or cycle beside speeding vehicles every day.
That is not just unsafe. It silently discourages physical fitness too.
Many avoid cycling because
roads feel unsafe.
Good road infrastructure should not
only help vehicles move faster.
It should help people live healthier and safer lives.
I truly hope India builds more
Dedicated walking and cycling lanes across smaller cities and towns.
Our children deserve safer roads for cycling daily
Because public infrastructure shapes public health habits.
When will tier-2 cities become truly walkable?
