During my recent visit to Bangalore.
I stumbled upon a SUN Mobility swap station.
Most of us think battery swapping saves time.
Battery swapping changes much more.
It changed my perspective.
For instance...
Think about a taxi.
You don't buy the car.
You pay only for the ride.
Battery swapping
Follows a similar idea.
You use the battery.
Someone else owns and manages it.
It changes vehicle ownership.
It improves fleet utilization.
It simplifies maintenance.
It extends battery lifecycle.
It enables new financing models.
Drivers don't always own batteries.
Fleet operators reduce vehicle downtime.
OEMs can rethink product strategies.
Investors see recurring revenue opportunities.
The battery becomes a service. ( BAAS )
Not just a product.
The biggest innovation isn't the battery.
It's the business model behind it.
Better batteries will improve EVs.
Better business models will accelerate adoption.
Would you buy an EV without owning its battery?
Can battery swapping accelerate India's EV adoption?
⚡ Looking forward to your thoughts.
