PM Modi’s appeal made me pause and reflect.I believe India needs systemic prevention.

27% of India is aged 15–29.
USA has 20% in this group.
UK has 18% in comparison.
That is our biggest strategic asset.
What if we protect every percentage?
But the drug data worries me more.
2.26 crore people use opioids.
40 lakh children use opioids.
30 lakh use inhalants.
These are not just numbers.
They represent our future workforce.
Drug abuse creates multiple risks.
Every addiction is more than lost health.
It can mean lost human potential.
Lost skills. Lost productivity. Lost innovation.
It also increases social and economic costs.
I look at this differently.
Every system needs early-warning signals.
Drug prevention needs them too.
Prevention must start much earlier at school level.
Schools and colleges need stronger awareness.
Sports, skills and community support need scaling.
Families also have an important role.
The picture below says something powerful.
It shows healthy life Vs Drug life.
For Viksit Bharat 2047, this matters.
What role can each of us play?
Let us discuss on this.
